The importance of integration

When energy is released during a healing facilitation a seed is planted for new possibilities. Integration is watering that seed. Without watering it, the benefits are compromised.

During the session,  subconscious material rise to consciousness and with integration you bridge the gap between the expanded state and consciousness. With integration you bring understanding, putting actions in place and making changes in your life. For example: Recognizing old patterns outside of our programmed perception, making different choices, changing self-talk – essentially creating new patterns and possibilities. You will experience healing through the release of energy in your session.

Insight and guidance can be profound. When we bring unconscious information to consciousness, we have an opportunity to dismantle the old pattern by active integration. We may have been willing to change previously but did not have the necessary tools. The psyche has the possibility to transform and create new brain pathways through the lens of a new perspective. Collapsing the old in order to give rise to the new.

During and following a session, everything may not make sense or have immediate meaning. The new information and perspectives gained in the session could feel disruptive and confusing, or exciting and adventurous. Having an awareness and appreciation of what you feel is essential to creating new patterns and supporting the process. The Daily Reflection sheet provided after a session can assist in raising your awareness of old patterns, supporting new choices and adjusting self talk. If you experience stagnation, reach out for an integration coaching call. We can support each phase of your healing process.

Your experience may be different from what you expected. If you feel no emotion, experienced no movement or any deep transpersonal experiences, you could feel that the session was unsuccessful and that you missed out somehow. Explore the possibility that it might reflect on a feeling of missing out in your life, of not having enough or being unfulfilled. Well done for being conscious that you had a certain expectation, but also try to accept that you had exactly the experience you were meant to have, in this moment.

We are body, mind (emotions) and spirit, each vibrating at different frequencies. In one session you may need to release frequencies of storage on a physical level and other times on an emotional level or all in one session. And if we feel that we were not able to overcome the challenge of letting go of the ego and connect with the guidance of the Inner Healer, then we had the opportunity to practice. Knowing that the connection is always there to go back to. Therefore it is a valuable practice to engage with on a regular basis to make it easier with time to get in touch, and stay in touch with. This is a practice of familiarization with our inner connection and trusting it. That is truly empowering inner work.

Don’t try to understand all of your experiences right away. With pro-active integration you will understand the valuable truth which is yours. Your guidance. Your message.

Important terms to come to terms with

Our innate wisdom goes by many names -the inner healer, higher consciousness, inner intelligence, life force or breath. It is the energy that not only give us life, but also sustains it. It is that conscious force that divided the single cell into 2 then 4 then 8 and so forth, building our central nervous system, heart, liver, etc. This life force is inherent love and never stops evolving and expanding. (Paradoxically these divided cells are not disconnected, as the innate wisdom they share are the same. This energetic connection is the inner healer.) It intuitively knows what to do when we are stuck and how to unravel the knots if we allow it to do so. The inner healer always serve our best interest without harming, constantly moving towards health. It is our resistance that keeps it from re-balancing and courses discomfort and pain, emotionally and physically. We need to be still, listen and connect with it. When we let go of doing it guides us to what is first priority in our healing process. We respect, trust and engage with the inner healer in a healing facilitation or a breathwork session. Session are guided by your Inner Wisdom.

Holistic healing. When we want to truly heal, we have to let go of the our focus of the symptom to see the cause of it. From the understanding that the body, mind and spirit is one, it would be insane not to take all of those parts in consideration in a deep healing journey. When we go through such a holistic process, some understanding or insight to where an illness or pain originates from is revealed. It gives it meaning and purpose. As a result it can then be a blessing rather than an obstacle, changing the basic energy of fear into love, resistance to acceptance, illness to health, separation to wholeness.
